Riplox TT is a video downloader for Android published by XniperBuilds. Almost everything in the app happens on your own device. This policy explains what stays local, what uses the internet, and the ads the app shows.
The short version: No account and no personal information. Your downloads and history stay on your device. The app connects to the internet only to fetch the video you ask for and to keep its download engine current. Because the app is free and shows ads, Google AdMob uses a device advertising ID — see "Advertising" below.
Data we collect
We do not collect any personal or identifying information ourselves. There is no sign-up or login. We do not gather your real name, email, phone number, contacts, location or usage analytics, and we have no servers that receive your data. The only device data involved is the advertising identifier, used solely by our ads provider (Google AdMob) to show ads — see "Advertising" below.
Data stored on your device
To work, the app keeps a small amount of data locally on your phone only:
- Download history — the title, link and saved-file location of videos you download, so you can replay or re-download them. It never leaves your device, and you can delete any entry (or clear it) at any time.
- Preferences — your chosen video quality and audio (MP3) setting.
- Downloaded files — saved to your device's gallery (Movies / Music / Pictures). These are your files.
Network use
The app connects to the internet only to (1) fetch the video you asked it to download from TikTok, (2) keep its open-source download engine up to date so links keep working, and (3) load ads. No other network calls are made, and no information about you is sent to us.
Advertising
Riplox TT is free and shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, AdMob collects and uses a device advertising ID and limited device information to show ads and measure their performance. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, any time in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads). Learn more in Google's advertising policies.
Permissions
- Internet / network state — to download the video you request and to load ads.
- Notifications — to show download progress.
- Storage (Android 9 and below only) — to save files to your gallery.
Third parties
The app uses one third-party service: Google AdMob, which serves the ads. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google processes advertising data. We do not sell your data to any data broker.
Children
Riplox TT is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new date.
