A downloader that stays out of your way

Everything the paid ones charge for, and none of what they bundle.

No limits, ever

No download caps, no daily quota, no paid tier, no sign-up. The whole app is the free version.

A thousand-plus sites

Video and audio from the sites you actually use — social, video hosts, news players and more.

4K down to 360p, or MP3

Pick the quality you want, or take the audio only. Whole playlists and channels queue in one go.

Copy a link, it's caught

Riplox watches the clipboard even while hidden, and a global hotkey grabs the link without switching windows.

Runs in the tray

Close the window and downloads keep going — with progress on the taskbar button and a notification when each file lands.

Keeps itself working

Sites change how they serve video. One click updates the download engine in place, without waiting for a new release.

Files are saved as H.264 MP4 by default, so they open in Windows Media Player, WhatsApp and on phones without extra codecs. The installer contains the app and nothing else — no toolbars, no offers, no adware. Downloading is subject to the terms of the site you download from and to the copyright of the material.

Installs for your user, so it never asks for administrator rights. It isn't signed with a code-signing certificate yet, so Windows SmartScreen may warn on first run — the SHA-256 checksum on the release page is how you confirm the file is ours.
