JFF Stylish Name is a name, font and symbol generator published by XniperBuilds. Almost everything in the app runs on your own device. This policy explains the one feature that uses the internet.
The short version: No account and no personal information. Generating names, applying styles, copying symbols and saving favourites all happen on your device. The only data that leaves your phone is an anonymous vote count for the community Trending list.
Data we collect
We do not collect personal or identifying information. There is no sign-up or login. We do not gather your real name, email, phone number, contacts, location, advertising ID or usage analytics.
Community voting & Trending
The app has an optional Trending tab. When you tap the ▲ vote button on a name, style or symbol, that text and an anonymous counter are sent to our database (Google Firebase) so popular entries can appear in the public Trending list. Votes are not linked to your identity — "one vote per item" is remembered locally on your device, not on our server. Names that reach Trending are visible to everyone who uses the app.
Content & reporting
Trending content is influenced by users, so we moderate it: the app automatically filters obvious profanity, and every Trending item has a Report (⚑) button. Reported items are hidden immediately for you and are automatically removed from Trending once enough reports are received. Please report anything inappropriate.
Permissions
- Internet — used only to load the Trending list and submit anonymous votes. This is the only permission the app requests.
Advertising
This version of JFF Stylish Name does not contain ads. If advertising is added in a future version, this policy will be updated to describe it before that version is released.
Third parties
The Trending feature is powered by Google Firebase (Realtime Database), which stores the anonymous vote counts on our behalf. Google processes this data as our infrastructure provider; see Google's Privacy Policy for details. We do not sell or share your data with any advertiser or data broker.
Children
JFF Stylish Name is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new date.
